Hi, I am Petrina

I’m Petrina, designer, artist, strategist, tea drinker, and the soul behind Hearts and Eyes.

With years spent leading branding, editorial, and marketing design for some of New Zealand’s most recognised names, I now pour that depth of expertise into helping women in business build brands that feel true, intentional, and full of character.

I’m especially passionate about partnering with female founders who are ready to step into their vision and show up with confidence. Nothing excites me more than the energised conversations where ideas take shape and brands come to life. With a love of typography and a craft for creating distinctive brand marks and custom visual identities, I bring strategy, intuition, and artistry together to create work that is both powerful and personal.

My home base is a light-filled studio an hour north of Auckland, where I spend my days designing, painting, and photographing, when I’m not chasing the tides or tiny footsteps along the beach with my young family.

Branding is my language, and nothing lights me up more than building visual identities that are not only beautiful but brimming with purpose, presence, and heart.
